These five departments within SSA serve different purposes in fulfilling SSA’s objectives.

A department filled with “special” and passionate individuals who curate initiatives of all sorts suited for the Sunway scholars, Sunway community, the public, and the internal SSA committees.

From Sunway Learning Exploration & Events programmes, to events like Scholars 101 and Scholars Bondee, our dedicated buddies are always at the ready to provide you with an enriching and enlightening journey through Sunway University.

Pals
Department

Driven by the passion to contribute to the underprivileged community, the Pals Department thrive to give back to the community as one of our goals.

The Pals Department has organised several fund-raising initiatives in the past, including bake sales to give back to the community, and assisting in the MYReaders programme to educate youths in English literacy and improving their reading skills.

Publicity & Engagement

A team of creative and dynamic individuals collaborates to drive branding and engagement efforts at SSA.

The Publicity and Engagement department serves as the bridge between SSA and scholars across various social media platforms, aiming to expand our reach and foster interconnectedness within our community.

Special
Projects

A department filled with “special” and passionate individuals who curate initiatives of all sorts suited for the Sunway scholars, Sunway community, the public, and the internal SSA committees.

The special projects department actively collaborates with external partners such as Scentses and Co, SNS Network, and Sunway Group to organize a variety of meaningful initiatives. Our event lineup ranges from informative sessions to creative workshops such as Microsoft Workshop and Crochet Blooms for the Sunway Community; to industrial visit, training and bonding sessions for the internal SSA committees.
